Canterbury Foothills, New Zealand (2014)
While out hiking through Lees Valley in Canterbury with the goal of capturing a panorama from the summit, the clouds rolled in and visability dropped off. It may not have been the shot I was after, but I'm really happy with this opportunist shot that I took so I wasn't going home empty handed.
This is one of my first and still one of my favorite black and white captures and it acted as a turning point where I could add black and white pictures to my portfolio.
